International Maritime Transportation

Overview

For international logistics within Asia starting from ports in Niigata Prefecture, we offer safe and reliable transportation routes that meet the needs of our customers, using ships operated by shipping companies that we serve as agents. By combining different transportation modes such as air and rail with marine transportation, we can also provide you with an integrated service from cargo pick-up to delivery.

What is RINKO B/L?

RINKO B/L is a house B/L that buys space from shipping companies and sells it to customers who need international transportation. This method is especially effective when you wish to transport small lots. Leveraging our past work and our ability to gather information and bargaining power through close cooperation with local agents, we offer our customers the convenience of one-stop services including cost reductions, transportation, cargo handling, and local support. Customers who are considering cost reduction and customers who are new to import and export can use our services with confidence.

B/L agreement

A bill of lading (B/L) is a document that certifies that a cargo has been received and loaded in accordance with the contract of carriage concluded between the ocean carrier and the shipper and promises that the carrier will deliver goods to the person who possesses the bill at the designated port. The following are the terms and conditions of the transportation contract.

Domestic logistics in East China

The East China region (the Yangtze River Delta region, which collectively refers to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces centered on Shanghai) that spreads around Shanghai Port and handles the world’s top container volume is home to Japanese companies such as automobile-related companies, precision equipment, and chemical product manufacturers. Many Japanese companies are entering the market here.

Since the opening of the container route, Rinko has built a local network in the East China region, and supports delivery, packaging, and customs procedures within China in line with imports and exports between China and Niigata. Through working with local partners, we provide peace of mind by visualizing the entire process of door-to-door logistics beyond port-to-port.

Realization of efficient logistics through system linkage

Rinko built and is operating NACCS, a system for online processing of procedures and related operations for customs and other related administrative agencies, and Linkage, a web core operation system linked to N-WTT’s container yard management system, which manages and operates Niigata Port. As a result, in addition to the integrated management of forwarder operations, by linking customs clearance data to NACCS, double entry is eliminated, input errors are reduced, and operations are made more efficient. It is now possible to import information from NACCS into Linkage, and to check and understand the declaration results and progress status. Rinko will continue to evolve to further improve its services.
