Land transportation

We can meet all your needs from general to heavy cargo.

Rinko has a wide range of models and vehicles to suit the various cargo types. From general to heavy cargo, we handle customer needs, working with group and partner companies. We deliver important cargo from Niigata to all over Japan.

Our container drayage, boasting a transport capacity of about 100 containers per day, and a wide variety of vehicles, from general to heavy and special cargo, demonstrate our capabilities in land transportation. Niigata Port is easily accessible as it is the cornerstone of land transportation connected to all parts of Japan by highway and expressway; smooth transportation is possible even to distant destinations. We can provide our own consistent service from sea to land transportation, suggesting the most suitable route for your cargo while you save time and cost.

Domestic coastal trading vessels

We transport safely and reliably on the Sea of Japan, even in winter.

Rinko handles coastal transportation throughout Japan as part of its comprehensive logistics. Bulk transportation of large lots, such as soil and sand, is both environmentally friendly and significantly cuts logistics costs. Based on meteorological conditions and past data, we provide reliable and safe transport, even in winter on the Sea of Japan. Since the Taisho era in the early 20th century, we have been involved in port operations at Niigata Port, and we have established a system to accurately meet the needs of our customers by collaborating with a cooperative fleet.

Introduction of logistics examples using trailers and ferries

We received an order from Company K, an industrial machinery manufacturer, to transport construction machinery such as rough terrain cranes and hydraulic excavators across Japan. We collect cargo at factories in Ibaraki and Gunma prefectures and transport it using ferries to Hokkaido in the north and Kyushu and Okinawa in the south.

For large cargo or short-term transportation needs, we consider the season, schedule conditions, traffic conditions, costs, and then determine the optimal route and method to fulfill customer needs, fully using the trailers of companies we work with. This flexible and high-quality service leads to trust; we continue to repeatedly serve the same customers as they take advantage of what we offer.
